Review of: Tudor 16th Century Armet

I am quite impressed with this helmet, and the solidness of it. Just watch out: the visor does not seem to stay up in place when you put it on, so if you aren't careful, or don't have some help while working on the bottom two chin plates, the inside of the visor might just fall down against your nose (luckily, I still have my nose, and a little more wisdom besides). Quite a nice piece.

Review of: Tudor 16th Century Armet

This is the best helmet I’ve personally seen at this price point. I have been collecting replica armour for 30 plus years and have seen a lot of bad stuff. Pleasantly surprised by this.
As far as size the neck is tight for me but I am 6’3” 240 18.5” neck

Review of: Articulated Hourglass Gauntlets

Fit is really well done considering they are one size. Fingers are a bit long but was able to wear them for a full season at ren-fest and handle paper, money easily.

Review of: Articulated Hourglass Gauntlets

Ive been waiting for years to find a pair of gauntlets like these which will allow you actually hold something and use. They are awesome and fit well. They come packaged and greased to prevent corrosion. The leather gloves will need to be broken in (to be expected).

Such a great buy, very happy with these.

Review of: Avenger Scale Gauntlets

Really like the look of the gauntlets.   With the way they are attached to the gloves you do loose some flexibility in the fingers.  But still very happy with them.

Review of: Tudor 16th Century Armet

This helmet came covered in oil (thats a good thing) It's very sturdy and smooth, the adjustment was very well ranged, got it to fit perfectly, the weight is far better than armet or closed helm I've ever seen. Love it, will be looking for more props here!

Review of: Spanish Morion Helmet

Really good helmet.  It's appropriately heavy, but very wearable.  The internal suspension feels comfortable and sturdy, and helps me appreciate the knowledge that went into building these things.  Also, I'm sort of an idjit: I was just thinking, "This thing needs a chin strap," but then I found it tucked into the lining.  Functional for experiments and budget reenactors.  Great for display.

Review of: Arming Cap, Quilted

Great arming cap. I wear it under my MRL Mail Coif and my MRL Visored Bascinet. Now the Arming Cap itself is a touch on the thin side, BUT if it were any thicker whatsoever my mail and helmet would be too tight. As of now they all fit perfect!! Not just trying to get reward points here. This arming cap is well put together and made to last, and mine has seen plenty of Renaissance Faires! Grab one,  you won’t regret it 👍😊
