Review of: Leather Swordsman Vambraces

These do not disappoint. I was a little surprised when they arrived flat and unstitched, and they were pretty stiff because of the thickness of the leather. But after stitching them and forming them (resting a foot on each of them a few minutes each to squish them into cylinders), they were just fine. I actually bought them for wearing while shooting my bow... not only do they look fantastic, but provide excellent protection from the string.

Review of: Leather Swordsman Vambraces

Great!! The leather and workmanship is excellent! Only wish they came a little larger so as to close around my forearm. When pulled tight, there is about a 2 inch gap in my upper forearm. besides that, they look good when I wear them.

Review of: Tudor Close Helm

Great piece to add to any armor collection!  I do have one issue with mine but it is by choice, I have very long hair and the closure around my neck will pinch skin from the added girth, this is not the case with my short hair friends.  Another really nice thing about most MRL helms are they fully line them with suede leather... Truly appreciated!   This one grabs the most attention from guests over my house and everyone wants to try it on and have a picture taken.  It is truly amazing how many people want to encase their head in steel and are not claustrophobic about it.  The visor will also lock into the raised position when wearing or displaying the helmet when the over lapping edges of the visor and clam shell covering the jaw are parallel which is also a very nice feature.  Not all the edges are rolled on this helm but there are no sharp edges either and at this price point it has been executed very well.
