Belts, Baldrics & Frogs

Period belts were not used to hold up pants. They were used for carrying your sword as well as a variety of pouches. Baldrics and frogs were another way of easily carrying your sword, which was one of your prized possessions.

Review of: Black Knightly Belt

This belt is quite substantial and appears to be of high quality material. It is very long (over 6ft) so keep that in mind when purchasing. I bought it in black and am pleased.

Review of: Pirate's Baldric w/ Knives

This Baldric was great quality and well made. Stitching is good and leather is thick.

Review of: Huntington Belt

The belt is very period and I love how it can let it hang in front or to the side of me like knights of old would and it fits great.

Review of: Leather Broadsword Frog

The frog is of high quality leather and holds my excalibur sword I bought fairly well with no give to it. The only downside in using this is I don't have a fat/wide enough belt for this design and it was hard to tell exactly how big of one I would need.

Having the Buccaneer Coat, the Pirate King belt this sash  simply makes for a great ensemble and attire.  The whole outfit would not be complete  without it.  Excellent.
