Blunt Weaponry

These versatile close combat weapons were capable of inflicting significant injury to an armored knight. They relied on the user’s strength and weight of the weapon to deliver blunt force trauma to their target.

Maces were crucial in the fight against an armored knight. Cheap to make and simple to use, they were used as a close contact weapon both on foot and horseback. Capable of delivering deadly blows, these bludgeoning weapons were primarily used by foot soldiers.

War hammers were mostly used in the late Middle Ages, they were used against mounted opponents or used in close combat, depending on the length of the handle. The spiked end of a hammer could pierce armor as well as be used to grab the reins of the horse.

Museum Replicas offers a great selection of these versatile weapons of choice used in the hand-to-hand combat of the mounted knight.

Sacred Relics Collection

There are some objects in history that transcend past, present and future. They bring to mind such a tremendous sense of connection to history that they allow us to more profoundly delve into our past, connect with it and ignite hope for future generations.

Such are the objects in this section. They have had no expense spared in their recreation. Each has been meticulously researched and it can take weeks to replicate just a single piece. Working from historian’s accounts, manuscripts and museum reference from the Topkapi Palace Museum in Istanbul, we are proud to bring you the true pinnacle of the metal smith’s art and their historic representation of the power and majesty each artifact embodies. These were symbols presented to the greatest prophets and kings the world has ever known and cannot be qualified by their usefulness today, but by the feelings they bring out in us.

These sacred objects honor beliefs, culture and customs of our honored and admired ancestors and we take solace in their memories. The first items in this ultra exclusive and entirely custom made series are the sacred sword of the Prophet Mohammad and the majestic sword of King David.

Although most of the sacred swords in the revered Topkapi Palace collection have been positively identified, many showed their age. The experts at the museum spent years restoring them to their full glory. We appreciate that hard work and dedication and have made our replicas to the same exacting standard as their painstaking restoration.

The sacred relic replicas in this section should not be regarded as mass-produced rudimentary, meaningless objects or even as modern antiques. One looks at these incredible objects, each associated with a certain exalted personality, as a masterpiece that transcends our every day lives.

We hope you enjoy your new found treasure.
