An overall solid shirt for reenactments or going out on the faire. While not long enough for the bigger guys when going with just hose, it bellows out wonderfully when tucked into pants. For a good fight, close the cuffs or roll up the sleeves.

The Swordsman's Shirt is a fairly serviceable piece. It works well for any costume, but the nylon lacing is very ugly, and distracts from the overall look. It also destroys any authenticity for the piece.
Whilst the lacing on the chest can easily be replaced, most of it is stitched into the collar and cuffs, thus requiring more work and sewing skills to replace.
Overall its a nice shirt, very billowy, but the lacing is a huge negative.

The shirt is generously cut without being too billowy, with only a slight 'close fit' across the back of the shoulders. The lacing is nylon cordage and can be replaced with leather cords for a more authentic look. The cuffs are interesting in that they 'tie' closed...also with nylon cordage. The shirt is medium weight cotton and holds shape and color well. The shirt is well made and very comfortable.

ample room for myself and a smaller person...

Perfect fit! A bit big, and a bit thin, but that's great for during the hot medieval faire summers. Mine will be for a pirate outfit, because of the collar. As to collecting lint...you suppose to dry clean only.

This is a good deal for the Deal of the Day price. I use mine for my pirate outfit that I wear for pirate day at school every year.

Made from a scratchy brushed cotton that collects lint like crazy. Worked well enough for a night out for Halloween though. The cords were a pain to figure out as the length of them was way too long. Looked alright though. Just wear an undershirt if you don't want to be itching while wearing it.
