The night of the medieval banquet, my first time to wear my gold chemise, I rode in a brand new Toyota rented for the occasion because our car was in the shop. As I exited the car, some tiny protruding piece of plastic caught the sleeve of the chemise and snagged it. That was the first of a series of sleeve-snagging events involving invisible projections on practically every surface I came near. It made for an anxious evening. This chemise is beautiful, but completely impractical for ordinary mortals. I felt I had fair warning of its fragility from the review above: I would not give it such a low rating if it were not for the fact that on arriving home, I found the chemise was snagged in places where it had been completely covered by my dress (the fleur-de-lis dress). Moral of story--this chemise, while beautiful, cannot be worn anywhere, except perhaps, to sit very still in a chair.
