Review of: High Boots without Fringe

I've had my boots for almost 20 years and I have been amazed at how well they have stood up. While I don't wear them but for Halloween or the odd medieval festival I have logged a lot of miles both on urban and rural terrain and they've never bothered me once. I have had ONE string break but that was after the horse I was on decided to brush by a thicket which snagged a lace. I always have lots of slack to the laces when putting them on or taking them off, tightening them from the bottom laces up so as not to stress the lace or eyelets.  They've been one of the better buys I've made from MR, and one I would happily do again when replacements are required.

Review of: Empire Vest

Putting together my first steampunk outfit for an upcoming contest.  This vest is of good quality and looks authentic. Purchased the S/M size and it fits my 40-inch chest perfectly. Would purchase other clothing items as a result of this experience.

Review of: Scoundrel Long Pirate Vest

Purchase the Scoundrels Long Pirate Vest in purple.  The color was true to the color advertised.  It is very well-constructed. It looks fantastic on and he received numerous compliments and where did you buy it. The only problem we had with this garment is the buckle in the back does not stay closed. But, I fixed it with just a few tacts with the needle and thread.  I would highly recommend this product to any Pirate or Privateer that wants to look a little more classy.

Review of: Don Juan Vest

It’s a good vest, but what it’s really needed for is to stabilize the cape. It fastens by way of button keeping it centered and makes the cape straps less annoying. Good stuff. All good stuff.

Review of: Period Tights

I purchased 3 pair of these for myself. They are comfortable and when putting on boots (ones without laces or unlined leather) the stirrups keep the pants/tights in place. They don't ride up and wrinkle or bunch up at ankles making it uncomfortable to wear the boots for an extended period of time. I'm going to order a few more in different colors.
