Heavy Shield
Very robust shield with some serious heft to it. If you are buying this as a wall hanger you need to find a stud. Handle is securely attached to the shield, paint is very shiny. Nice done.

Beautiful, sturdy shield
I love this shield. It is well made and has a beautiful paint job, but when I received it, there was a noticeable blemish in the paint. It's also very large and heavy. It weighs about 12 pounds, which is only 5 pounds heavier than another shield I own. If you want a big, sturdy shield that will give you some good exercise if you practice with it, look no further.

Very fine shield
This shield is Fantastic, it is the perfect weight and is very well made. However to be historically accurate the shield would have been warped with rawhide, or leather. Other than that it’s perfect!
