Windlass Steelcrafts is proud to release a replica of the famous Ballock dagger currently housed in the Rothenburg Collection. Believed to be from Northern Italy, this stunning dagger exemplifies the work found in and around Venice.

Our massive Veronese Ballock Dagger sports a blade with a square cross-section, which shifts 45 degrees at the tip and has a stepped ricasso section with fullers. The tough, black wooden handle is sandwiched between a lavishly engraved guard and pommel, plated in 24-karat gold.

The inscription on the cap of the pommel reads, DEXTERA DOMINI FECIT VIRTUTEM - The Right Hand of the Lord Hath Wrought Strength. A four-sided, wooden scabbard, covered in black leather and rich, matching gold-plated fittings is included.

I just received my new Veronese  Ballock dagger after a short wait. It is very well made. I could find no flaws or imperfections on the blade, handle or the scabbard. It fits like a glove. Handles well in the hand. My money was well spent. Beautiful piece.  KL

Just wanted to update my review. My opinion of the dagger stands, but I want to add something. A really nice woman called from the company asking how to make it right. I said I was still happy with the company and didn't want a discount. This is why I will purchase more stuff in the future. Great company.

Overall, not the quality I expect from this company. Showed up dirty, and with bent fittings. The brass is not up to the standard I have seen from previous orders on other items. Not worth the money.
