I apologize for my previous outburst, one of my friends showed me how its supposed to be put on and I apologize to anyone I offended. This piece is excellent when I got it correctly put on and it is worth having for any costume...

I had the Altair pieces from MR and was overall pleased, but some parts were a bit lacking most noticeably the leather parts. The cape from Ezio however completely blew me away when i got it. Its a beautiful piece, and the pictures don't do it justice. the metal accents are very well done and definately add to it. the only complaint i have is the silver painting on the swirls is a little sloppy. It is a little bit awkward to put on your self because of how difficult it is to tie it tight, but it isn't too bad. Love this piece and will likely be buying more of the Ezio pieces from MR. Though all the cloth pieces are far too large for me, even the S/M of the Altair pieces were swimming on me (I'm 5'9" but only 135 pounds).

Just got this via UPS yesterday. I'm learning to become a Bard and wanted something a little "Flashy" and this was just the style I was looking for. It would be nice to have something a little better than the leather straps to tie off but I can mod that myself easily enough. It looks very cool but now that I have it I think that it is a bit overpriced by as much as $50.00. Despite that, pretty cool...

I LOVE this piece! it is very good looking and easy to wear. The reason it is tied and not buckled under the arm is because the buckles would come loose very easily. Buckles have to be tight in order for them to work properly.

I love this cape. It is well made, and very beautiful, but I do agree with Michael, the leather straps that tie it together come loose if you move to much. Buckles would solve the problem or just continue several strings to tie instead. But all in all I am glad to have it.

The cape is very attractive and well made. My only complaint is that I don't understand why they didn't include buckles on the leather straps under the arm. The only way to secure the cape is by tying the four 3/4" wide straps. Very inelegant (though it is generally not seen unless you lift your sword-arm high.
