This coat worn by Professor Severus Snape is made exactly like the screen worn coat! This button down, cotton blend fitted jacket features a false cravat w/ shirt collar, cuffs sewn into jacket, pockets and fitted button cuffs. The deep navy blue fabric is repeated in the matching fabric covered buttons. Available in M, L and XL.
To tie your cravat - drape the fabric from the front of your neck over the shoulders and back to the front. Cross the long end over the short end, taking the longer end underneath and passing it through the loop.

If it were not for the lack of quality in the buttons, I'd give the coat a 5 star rating. The fabric quality is quite good as is the construction. The downside, and its a biggie, is the cheap plastic used for the covered buttons. One shank broke on the first wearing when I turned at an awkward angle. Luckily, I was able to salvage the top half of the button to make a replacement. A second button, on the sleeve had its top pop off on the second wearing. No idea where it went. Museum Replicas does not have replacement buttons so I'll be spending quality time at various fabric stores trying to match the fabric to make a replacement button. Very, very annoying.

I just received my order and was very impressed. The customer service was excellent and the shipping very prompt especially since I live in Canada. The coat fits almost like it was tailored for me, which is to say it is snug and rather constraining - the perfect English period outfit. I look forward to future purchases.
