Just received the sword. Soft enough for LARP combat (Grade 2, no full force swings, no thrusts). Resembles the photo used. Detail on hilt is much less, runes are painted on, blade is gray not silver.

Was worth the backorder wait. In a word - Fun. You'll be digging out the DVD for comparitive play in no time.
