For 18 dollars US these rock. They are 4 * at any price but 5 * at 18$. I was expecting crappy thin guards. But these are VERY nice. Very comfy and "look" rugged. I'm actually ordering a second set today.

I have not had the problems mentioned by the other reviewer. I've worn mine several times and had a tumble or two while wearing them, and they still look as good as the day I bought them.

Started coming apart after wore ONE time where the strings go through the eyes. metal clips came apart too.
