Product reviews for Pirate Pants

I wanted these as they are light, economical and have pockets for my wallet and phone. Laid flat, they are basically shaped like a giant rectangle in shape.

I ordered L/XL based on my 36" waist size on the size chart. BIG mistake! I could hold the front of those pants out a good 10" from my waist! Thanks to MR's great customer service, I easily swapped them for the S/M which still have some room to spare. I measured the folded waist at 21" across and the length from top of waist to bottom of leg at about 41".

Being a large person, Pants that are too big is a rare problem. One that I actually welcome. These pants have room to spare. And even side pockets. They are definitely made to be worn with boots. But they will get the job done

Fabric is a bit on the thin side.  in fact, one of the grommets through which the tie cord runs ripped out just untying the knot in the cord to try them on the first time

These are made way too big and are very "billowing" and loose. If you order, be sure to get a size smaller. Since I have to pull them way up, the legs are too short and I would have to make sure to wear them tucked into boots.This refair season I guess I'll have to wear my old pants as these look kind of silly.
