Product reviews for Paladin Shirt Lightweight Gambeson

Yep, it's exactly what the title says, "Lightweight Gambeson." I have a 38-39 chest and I got the S/M, which fits great. The velcro isn't my favorite, and I think I would have preferred a clasp system of some kind, but that's the one gripe I have. It will go great with some of Museum Replica's Lightweight mail (The aluminum stuff), and will probably still handle the standard mail too, but I would not add any extra armor to that. It's not padded much (at all really).

I called your company and someone recommended this shirt as an alternative to me wearing a heavy gambeson in the summer. This shirt is great!!! Heavy enough for under my chainmail but so much cooler than the heavy one I wear in winter. Great suggestion and easy to take care of, too!
