Great but pommel should be peened
They should peen the sword and bring it back.

Woulda Coulda Shoulda
One of those blades  I let slip thru my fingers... can't buy them all but this one would have done me proud. Maybe AC/MR will bring it back!  Should they do so I won't snooze this time...

Great Spartan sword
Once again MR didn’t let me down. As I already owned the Classic Hoplite sword, I was anxious to see how this short sword would be. I was not disappointed. As always, had sword sharpened and it’s a great addition to my MR collection of swords.

Spartan Lakonia Short Looks Sharp and Feels Great
This sword has a great feel to it.  It is shorter than a normal xiphos, as Spartan swords really were.  Wielding it side by side with my typical Greek xiphos helps me see the advantage of the shorter design preferred by the Spartans.  It feels fast and well balanced, like a sports car.  I am also a sucker for the bronze hilt.

Beautiful Blade
Beautiful blade and I love the bronze handle.  It is short, which is appropriate for the Spartans in particular.  The only reason I gave 4 stars vs. 5 was that the fit where the blade passes through the hilt could be machined to a closer fit.  The construction appears tight and solid, but aesthetically it would be better with less of a visible gap.

Excellent quality. Sword. Appears heavy to hold, by the balance is very good.

Awesome
I had my eye on this piece for a while and pulled the trigger on it while it was a "Deal of the Day". A little shorter than expected, more of a long dagger than a short sword, but beautifully executed with regard to fit and finish. Fast in the hand and razor sharp. Another hit for Museum Replicas and Windlass!

Nice, but not stellar
Beautiful blade with a razor's edge. Custom initials look great. Scabbard seems sturdy.
Unfortunately, the blade is noticeably asymmetrical; I didn't even try to return it because it's sharpened

Short sword or big knife?!?  Whichever, a nice piece of work.

This blade is fantastic. I purchased it sharpened and it came sharp as a razor. The weight is amazing and the handle swell fits the hand superbly. I love this gorgeous weapon.

Just received my two Spartan Swords today, and I can't believe how magnificent these swords are! The balance and feel of blades are perfect. The materials used and the overall craftsmanship are unmatched! Any Spartan would be proud to carry a weapon such as this into battle. Thank you MRL for the best set of swords I own! And thank you to my girlfriend who purchased them for me!

Absolutely Stunning. The Bronze looks much better in person than in the picture. Sharpened means razor sharp. Nicely balanced about a centimeter above the edges of the guard. A truly quality piece that does justice to its inspiration.

Great purchase. Arrived exactly as shown. Sharpened version comes amazingly sharp (not to be played with at all).
It's my favorite sword of my collection. I love how the handle (bronze) darkens with use. A good buy.

So far, my only MRL purchase has been the Lakonia Short Sword's precedessor, then called a Celtic Leaf Bladed Sword. Sure, I love it, but it wasn't well-balanced; a weighty 'pommel' had to be fitted to the handle's protruding nipple. Sexiest blade shape!
