A well made weapon and a compliment to any pirate costume.

I own several cutlasses and I must say this is one of my favorites.  It has a nice comfortable grip. Construction is very sturdy...everything is tight.  I opted for the sharpening service and as always it is second to none...excellent service.

I have a question... I just received this as a gift from my fiance who owned the weapon for a few years and lost the sheath. I was wondering if there is any way I can order that alone or even get ahold of the manufacturer to work something out. I love the weapon and I don't want to damage the blade.

Excellent cutlass. Beautiful to look at, comfortable in the hand, and well-balanced. Blade is light and the broad fuller makes it quite flexible. The price is right, too!
I'd definitely have it sharpened. MR does a great job.

Anthony, we are sorry you are still unhappy.  We offered several options to rectify the situation and you accepted a discount.  You should have already received the check by now.

I drove to the store location on 08/03/2013 to purchase this weapon. I received the item, still wrapped and greased. Drove the 2 hours back home, cleaned the grease off per M/Rs written instructions only to find a damaged blade. Customer Service answer to the problem? Spend my time, effort and more money to fix or replace the item. They were happy to send a return label (no box)and I could trust that they would send a new undamaged one in a week or too.

I love the look but it is a little heavy for a one handed weapon. It seems to either need a little off the blade or possibly a pommel.
