This was my first purchase from this establishment, and I must say it has done naught but impress. I got it unsharpened originally, but have since used a tool sharpener to give it a near-razor edge. I am pleased with the simple elegance of the design, and have gotten many compliments at events I've worn this to. If you want a short sword or dagger without any gaudy flair, get this one. Assuming it comes out of a "discontinued" state, of course.

It would be a good short sword except the blade is prone to rust quickly in a humid locale.

An excellent dagger! I purchased this to make a matched set to go with the Baron hand and a half sword. Makes a beautiful display. I also chose to have it sharpened and it came capable of shaving the hair on my arm! Thanks Museum Replicas, Terry Balentine

I like the way the hilt grows wider in the middle, thus making for a good grip. Its light and fast. When J.R.R. Tolkien writes in "The Lord of the Rings" that Legolas carried a "long knife," its this coustille that I imagine, rather than those ridiculous, dinky curved blades he was given in the movies.
