This is a great addition to any weapons collection.  I will use mine for a wall hanger but the quality would likely work for a real spear head.  Very pleased.

This is a well-crafted and beautiful javelin head. I mounted on a 4 foot 7/8" dowel that matches the socket perfectly. The item arrived quickly and was well packaged. I would highly recommend this company.

These are real good spear heads, I really, really wanted something like this when I was a kid.  Now my sons, grandsons and friends are getting to throw these things.  The shafts that are long enough are too large in diameter, so I plane them down with a small hand plane until they are just right.  You can also fix bends in the wood while doing this. Also, a file and sand paper is good, finished with linseed oil. Only throw into dead trees, stumps and logs, no damage to live trees. The kids are ok with that.

Just got two of these on the glorious Daily Deal (note to MR: the ploy DOES work!).  TERRIFIC pieces, both. Leaf blades are very symmetrical with even edges, and a good, solid thickness. Beautiful, clean finish. I don't think I'll sharpen mine at all; will have better endurance for target-throwing. Thanks!

Bought two of them when they were the deal of the day and I'm very impressed.  They seem too be very well made.

I like my javelin tipped spear.  At the time I was considering a spear tip but thought javelin sounded sportier and would have a better chance with customs.  I thinned the blade to almost a cutting edge leaving the flats flat.  Then gave it a secondary bevel to finish the edge.  I had planned on mounting it on a 1” x 6’ red oak staff but the vendor was out at the time and my freight forwarder gave me a price on a 5’ staff of $75 leaving me to guess at the 6’ price.  This was on top of the staff’s price and domestic shipping.  So I removed my Chinese hooked spear head and mounted the javelin head on a 6’ single tapered rattan staff which is surprisingly stiff.  The finished spear is 79” and balances well without a counter weight on the butt.  It is fast and penetrates well.  I am very happy with my new spear.

A nice solid piece that will endure in battle. Craft the correct diameter of a pole, insert tightly and expect success.

Looks great I just should have read to measurements but it is still worth it

Very impressive. Just what I was hoping for, but I can't find a long enough length of 7/8" dowel for the shaft. Have you considered offering 7/8" and 1-1/4" X 6' dowels?

Appears very good quality. Did not have a chance to mount on shaft yet. Sharpened them up. Held a nice edge. So far very pleased.

I have ordered two and will order one more to complete my Thracian javelin set. The javelin head is the perfect weight and size!
