Product reviews for Man-at-Arms Helm

This helm does NOT rate "Five Stars" for protection. It's more like a bicycle helmet when it comes to actual protection (i.e., it would keep you safe from a minor blow or if you happened to take a spill at the fair...)versus a steel "functional " helm. However, this is an awesomely cool looking helm that is very comfortable and easy to wear. I wear a size 7&1/8 hat and this fits me just fine. I'd say it wold be good for up to a size 7&1/2 or a bit more.
The leather and steel is well done and the suede side flaps look good.
If you're looking for a helm for "Battle of Nations", then look elsewhere, but for fairs, RPG's or just playing around, this is a great choice! It may be a tad pricey for a cool costume item, but it is a very cool costume item, indeed
