I got this as a gift.  This is a solid, well made, usable piece of equipment.  I knocked it around a little in the wood pile just to see what's what.  It seems like it would hold up pretty well.  It kind of reminds me of a modern interpretation of an old Vietnam war era tomahawk.  I like it.

The most versatile, useful, dependable and deadly axe that I have ever purchased! Field tested it the same day that I have received it and was amazed with it's excellent quality. I smashed 2 cinder blocks and pierced 5 tin cans with the hawk only losing some of the surface paint and keeping the edge true and unblemished. This is a devastating weapon to weld against any adversary/ies. I highly recommend this cold steel masterpiece, you will not be sorry!

Excellent quality, holds an excellent edge.  Overall an outstanding piece of weaponry.

This hawk is tremendous in its ability to cause extreme damage to whatever has to be destroyed. It sliced through 5 collapsed corrugated boxes. I wont tell of the damage it did to an opossum. The axe head holds an edge very well.This is definitely my weapon of choice for close encounters. Well done, Cold Steel.
