Great Purchase!
I sat on the fence on this for a long time until the discounts earlier in the year made it too tempting. I read one bad review elsewhere but decided to risk it and found it was worth it! This is no chintzy fantasy blade but a very hefty and functional piece! Every fellow martial artist or Medieval re-enactor I've shown this to concurs. As I am especially fond of wielding single-edged, curved blades, this is a unique and welcome addition! Any modifications such as changing the hilt, the grinding of the edge, or changing the scabard are easy enough to do. Get this while you can!

I've had my eye on this model in the Cobra Steel line for some time and took advantage of the holiday sale, bought two.  They came fairly sharp and I tuned them up to very sharp with little trouble.  The sheaths are clunky but functional, the rubber scales are a little squarish but I'll grind the corners down.  The somewhat seax-like design has both warrior and utility to it's look, the most noticeable characteristic the really murderous descending point, which the photos do not do justice.

5 stars because this is pretty much as advertised... Don't think you'll beat it at this price...  And you could beat this thing quite a bit... Arrives semi sharp... A few passes on a belt sharpener brought it right up to speed...
