Great product!
Love the blade, I didn’t get it sharpened but it just looks nice. Good quality overall.

Bought it as a gift for a cousin who plays bagpipes professionally. He's extremely pleased with this new addition to his performance outfit. Says it even comes in handy for cutting reeds.

I bought this knife as a fancy functional letter opener for my office.  I paid extra for sharpening and that was worth it.  I was very happy when i got it and glad i use it everyday.

Pretty blade but won't hold an edge, I've got a cheap pocket knife that I've had for years and use daily but only have to sharpen it every month or so.  Also the furniture looks like aluminum.  All in all, I think I wasted my money on this knife and if I could give it less that a one star rating I would.

I paid extra for the sharpening. Nothings loose, it's really sharp, and it looks pretty good. The sheath only goes in one way, and the metal parts of it are a different kind than the rest of the knife; the sheath looks more 'chrome' and the rest has a more yellowish 'silver' kinda hue. The sheath 'recesses' into the knife a bit under that metal piece, and the space between has a small piece of red velvet. Mine smells like machine oil and the velvet is soaked in oil, probably from the sharpening process. The damascus pattern looks really good, but the stamped thistle pattern on the handle feels "so-so" to me. The overhanging piece that the sheath goes into is really thin and I bent it with my thumb so be careful with that. This knife is a 'B' student.

This a poor knike, not sharp at all even with the extra money for sharpening, nickel silver fitting are badly glued, leather work not finish, i'll never order again ...
