It is made of real leather and it is awesome! It seems a bit big at first, but you need to put the extension knife on first underneath it. Once you put it on over the knife it fits perfectly.

The vambrace looks fantastic, but before I buy it, may I ask someone what is it made of? Is it hard leather or what?

Very well-made piece of the costume!  Thank goodness the straps were of high quality because you are cinching it fairly tight when using it with the retractible knife.  (Yes, they will fit together.  The knife bracer goes on under the vambrace.)  The straps/attachments have consistently been the weak points on other parts of the costume, but not this piece.  Good, thick leather.

Amazing peice of work and craftsmanship, looks just as pictured.very high quality materials used. Cant't wait to get the hidden blade to make it fit snuggly on my arm. If you have very small foerarms, under 12 inches near the elbow to 9 around the wrist, you will need to add padding i dont know if the hidden blade will be able to make it fit securely or not.

Can someone tell me if it will work with altairs blade

Buffalo: it comes with 1 vambrace. If you want a 2nd vambrace and extension knife for the other arm then buy them separately. And I don't think it is compatible with the 1st extension knife because that one attaches to it's own vambrace. I'm sure you could rig it up somehow though.

Looks great, but can anyone tell me if it comes with both arms or just one?  And if so, does the other arm hold a second blade?  Is it compatible with the blade from the first Assassin's Creed costume?

My only regret, its a bit big. Besides that this things material is very reliable and comfortable. And the detail is incredible. This is one of those rar times when you CAN trust the picture of the product.

This really is spot on in detail and is exactly like the picture shows (although mine has more silver in the details which is great)! The materials used seem high quality and are very sturdy too! I would say this is definitely a must buy for Assassin's Creed fans!

One thing you should keep in mind is that this is made for the hidden blade. Meaning unless you have pretty big forearms, I don't think you'll be wearing it alone. But then again, what Assassin would be caught without their blade?
