This coat is a good depiction of a roundabout-style shell jacket, with the taller stand collar and lack of shoulder boards. Sizing runs accurate, but the fit is boxy. Coarse wool construction with unbleached lightweight lining. 9 Federal eagle buttons, which are the only real detractor for the price. Construction feels a bit hollow, and the fit through the buttonholes is tight.  These could be easily replaced with more accurate buttons if one so desired, with acceptable overall investment into a garment that is likely to prove hard-wearing.
