Excellent quality.  Didn't expect anything nearly so authentic.

I was very impressed with the quality of this saber.  It is a well constructed beefy piece  that is an excellent value for the price.  The balance of the sword could be better as it is quite forward heavy but the original design likely favored a forward heavy blade for the slashing purposes for which it was intended.  Although I ordered it sharpened - the sharpening was only mediocre and needs further honing to get a decent edge.  Overall though - a great sword at a great price!
