I've owned this sword for a year now, and it is a beautiful weapon. It is well balanced. The belt and scabbard compliment the blade nicely. A note of caution: this blade is very sharp, clean it carefully.  

This sword was very well made as well as the scabbard. The only problem I found with it is that the edge of the blade is far to thin causing it to fold over, chip or dent in whenever you strikes something with it. If the blade was a little more substantial this would be an absolutely wonderful sword.

Good overall craftsmanship. fittings on  scabbard and belt are not period, and I the sharpening left a wavy edge to the blade, hence the 4 instead of five stars.  handles well.  grip is sufficient for 1 adult hand, only by gripping the pommel would I dare consider this a bastard sword. not bad for the price, but i snagged it on sale.  

The sword itself is well made, im no expert but I feel that the metal grain should run the length of the blade rather than the width for strength, and though it is considered a bastard or hand an half sword, the handle is made for a good one handed long sword, other than that the sword is great well made, and put together properly still a good sword

This sword is great! Solid feel, strong blade, not whippy and grip is comfortable for me. Sheath and belt are beautiful. Blade is wicked sharp.

Grip is a little narrow and blade was just a slight bit whippy for me.
