Product reviews for Villager Boots

I was torn between OK and Good and decided to go with Good because in the end, these are a pretty well made pair of boots/shoes. My problem is that they're pretty modern looking and feeling when you get them in your hands. The corded thongs are actually modern nylon boot/shoe laces complete with plastic tips and the eyelets are aluminum. Also, the material and stitching are just too neat, smooth, and precise to be believable upon close inspection (forget about the rubber soles, that's just a bow to the Renfaire-goers comfort!). Also, these are BIG! I wear a 10 1/2 to 11 and got the Medium and they're roomy with a pair of cotton athletic socks. Are you supposed to wear foot wraps or something?
