The blade got lose while using, but the nut is easy to re-tighten. That also allowed me to remove the hilt and check the construction. The tang is fairly beefy, have not been able to bend it.

I am delighted with the construction of the sword. It is of solid construction and quite handsome. Blade is flexible but not overly so. I have not sharpened it yet but it is obviously designed for serious use and not stage combat theatrics.

OK as a half-price DOTD, looks good in the scabbard but not substantial enough for close inspection or regular stage combat; fittings are obviously formed, not forged. Even the "unsharpened" version is quite sharp and would need dulling.
