Review of: Helmet of Castile

Good construction and appears every bit ready to do battle.  We put it on a stand to really set it off.

Love it.  I have the sugarloaf helm also and I wish that one had the chin strap that this one does.  fits well and securely.  I need to adjust the liner but I'm waiting until I have time to put it on over mail and arming cap to adjust the height and test the final fit.

Review of: Blackbeard’s Coat

Love this coat!  The picture doesn't do it justice.  The pic looks like it would be charcoal grey, but it's definitely black.  Great brocade material.  Fits nice.  I have a 40 chest and the medium fits just fine with a little bit of room for wearing over thicker clothes is needed.

Review of: Helmet of Castile

I flipped out when I first saw this helm in the Museum Replicas catalog and had to have it! When i got it it was heavier than expected. But it is magnificent! I wear this with my Knights Templar tunics and it has made me feel more like a lord, rather than just a knight. I display it in my library on a stand, when I am not wearing it.

Review of: Blackbeard’s Coat

Infinitely higher quality than the photo shows: lined brocade with leather buttons which can be used to actually close the coat from either side, so it's left with rakish lapels and a modern(ish) cut! Can be stylishly worn in posh, modern public venues, as well as of course for historical re-enactments. Not destined for the closet or only special occasions! And Yes, this item does indeed run a tad large, at least for this company's line of Indian sartorials.

well made and looks great.  runs a little large though.  I usually wear between a medium and a large and this in a small fits well.
