OVERVIEW

Warning! These playing cards are so interesting you may lose track of the game. Each of the 52 standard cards features its own unique armor or weapon from the Metropolitan Museum’s vast collection. This deck contains exquisite examples of some of the finest and sometimes ornate armor in existence. Primarily European, but some cards display oriental and early American arms and armor. From a magnificent Japanese mask (1745) bearing the ferocious face of Jikokuten, one of the Four Kings of Heaven, to an exquisitely decorated British suit of gold and steel (1527) probably forged for King Henry VIII, this deck presents highlights and hidden gems of the Museum’s renowned Department of Arms and Armor. These are premium, 100% linen cards made in the USA. The deck comes with 2 Joker cards that contain information about the Metropolitan Museum’s collection and the Lingo/Met playing card series.

Proudly made in the U.S.A. by The United States Playing Card Company in Erlanger, Kentucky. With 140 years of playing card experience, The United States Playing Card Company is the manufacturer of the playing card brands you know and trust, such as Bicycle ®, Bee ®, and Tally Ho ®.
