Favored by Scottish mercenaries, the Lowlander sword and its like were referred to as “Slaughter-Swords” thanks to their brutal blows. One of the largest swords offered by Hanwei, this blade still has an amazing balance and feels excellent in the hand thanks to its leather-covered and overlaid binding. At long last
I have been after this sword for about 20 years. I took advantage of Museum Replicas Christmas sale and bought it as a present to myself.
Assembly was easy and took less than 5 minutes. The sword has a great balance and a keen edge. I prefer it to my much shorter claymores.
