OVERVIEW
Koi are said to swim upriver, fighting the current with the strength and courage of a true Samurai. This made it a great choice for showing off the tsuba on this Koi Wakazashi. The black iron tsuba depicts a finely rendered Koi, with front and back detail. The blade is hand-forged of T10 high carbon steel. The Koi Wakizashi has black same, with a white Japanese cotton tsuka-ito. The saya is finished in a deep black lacquer with a black and white striped cotton sageo. Includes a protective cloth bag and traditional maintenance kit.
Complete the set! A samurai wore two swords, and a matching Koi Katana is available to complete your collection.
