Paul Chen's / Tinker Early Medieval Sword is a single-handed Oakeshott Type XII piece, with sharp and blunt versions with identical handling characteristics available. This blunt sword uses a broad, flat fuller to move mass towards the edges for safety while retaining a very lively feel. The thick edges and rounded tip make it safe sparring practice. The cruciform hilt is attractive and functional.
