Based on the design of the Oakeshott Type XVIIIA. The sharp blade is produced in two slightly different versions - this version is diamond-sectioned throughout its length. The wheel pommel is sized to provide grip for the second hand when necessary.

Great value for the price and great for first time purchasers
This was my first time buying a sword and I couldn't be more happy. I'm short (5'3) so this blade is the perfect length for me and the hilt is comfortable. Most importantly, despite it being made from high carbon steel it was only $260 including shipping. One thing I will say, the tip is SHARP. I bought this just to swing around for fun but I will be purchasing a rubber tip to go on the sword to be safe. Overall, great product for the money.
