The Sword of St. Maurice is a standard Oakeshott XI.4 given the size, parallels of the edge, and long thin fuller. An Arms of the Empire eagle crest is on one side of the pommel and the personal arms of Otto IV is on the other. The guard is engraved with 'CHRISTUS VINCIT, CHRISTUS REGNAT, CHRISTUS IMPERAT'. This sword is based off a blade housed in Vienna dating from the late 11th to early 12th century. Solid wood core scabbard included.
