By the 3rd quarter of the 14th Century this type of helmet had emerged as the most popular form and could be found on the battle-fields all over Europe. Called "pig faced" by the English and "Hounds Skull" by the Germans, this helmet is made from 19 gauge steel and has an antiqued finish. Features include an adjustable leather liner with chin strap and an approximately 26" circumference. Made by Windlass Steelcrafts®.
