OVERVIEW
Constantine XI was the last reigning Byzantine Emperor, ruling from 1449 until his death in battle at the fall of Constantinople. Following his death, he became a legendary figure in Greek folklore as the "Marble Emperor.”
This stunning statue of Emperor Constantine depicts him in battle armor, holding a curved sword and a Byzantine flag. Made of cold cast resin, which has been metalized with an antique bronze finish, with hand-painted accents to bring out the detail.
