This history-inspired battle axe has a hand-forged blade and a tough hardwood handle. It has all the heft and feel of a working axe but has a blunt edge so you can safely display it without worrying about curious little fingers touching it in the wrong place. In other words, this is a display axe that's made like a real one, not like the cheap display axes on the market that have pot metal blades. The handle is handsomely studded with screws and the head features a solid brass spike. Perfect for display OR realistic cosplay.
