Upon Ashley’s return to Atlanta for Christmas Scarlett dons this wonderful holiday gown. This dress consists of two pieces, the bodice and the skirt.
The bodice is made of a white, lightweight poly-silk with a 10 panel gathered rousing and 1/4” red taffeta detailing. The center front has hook and eye closures and sports short, gathered sleeves with the same red taffeta detailing. The entire bodice has a cotton lining and a buttonhole elastic fitting detail at the back center waist, allowing for a perfect fit.The full 48” long garnet red taffeta skirt has a 6” deep hem allowing for any desired tailoring. A 1-1/4" waistband, with doubled pleats around the entire length, has six hook and eye closures for adjustable fit. The entire skirt has a white taffeta lining. The gown comes with a white, poly gauze crepe sash, which measures 138” long, 8” wide, with a 16” knotted fringe at both ends. The golden Christmas cameo brooch is included and measures 2” x 2” with 2” gold tassels. Finally, the dress is shipped complete with a six-tier, nylon hoop skirt to complete your ensemble. I saw a woman wearing this dress at a Christmas tea. It was beautiful, well-made and looked like it was made from good material. The dress look like it fit very well. This dress looked exactly like the dress Scarlett wore in the movie when she was saying farewell to Ashley.

exceptional! Everyone at the historical event in Jonesboro
(home of Tara) was just enthralled by the detail! The outfit is complete with a great hoop! But,you may need a "hankie" - Scarlett never had one when she needed it and you surely feel like Scarlett looking for Ashley! This dress really made the day!
