OVERVIEW

Circa 1200

A knight demanded that his sword be a good one, but also fair to look upon. This sword is both. Its beautifully carved solid hardwood grip provides a very secure hold and its fluted pommel balances it nicely. The guard is long for good protection from a sliding shield or weapon, and both are from antiqued brass for ease of care. Altogether, an effective one hand sword. Made by Windlass Steelcrafts®. Includes scabbard. Can be sharpened for additional fee.
  • Overall: 40"
  • Blade: 33" long, 2" wide, 3/16" thick

I would have given this sword 4 stars had not the one i recieved handle and pommel been off center, luckily it has a threaded pommel so i was able to repair it. Well balanced and very light. A great value at the price for sure.

A truely amazing sword. Wish they would make one with a leather grip as well.

The sword I received wasn't quite what I expected. Of course it is beautiful and well balanced. My only problem is that where the Pommel meets the Grip it seems to be off center or slightly bent. Also when the blade extends past the cross guard it seems to lean a little to the side. But besides that its an amazing piece.

The sword was as good as I expected it to be. The only problem was when I received it, the sword was stuck in the scabbard near the hilt. I had to use a rubber hammer to get it out. I still cannot put it all the way back into the scabbard without it getting stuck again. I hope I can work on the mouth of the scabbard to loosen it up some.

This is a beautiful sword. I just got it today. The blade is perfect. A little thinner than I expected but it's wonderful. Also, the grip is a little crooked but I guess I'll live. Overall it's a great looking sword.

I bought this sword as a court sword, expecting a rather ungainly, poorly balanced yet attractive chopper. What I got was a wonderfully balanced sword I would not hesitate to carry into combat should I need it. The pictures do not do this sword justice. Don't Close this Sword out!
