Review of: American Hickory Competition Tomahawk Handle

It's imperative you get a couple replacement handles with the tomahawks if you plan to throw them. They naturally will split or break when throw incorrectly, which is inevitable. They're nice quality and very competitively priced. Highly recommend!

Review of: Competition Tomahawk

I bought two of these for a backyard party. I highly recommend building a solid upright back board for throwing. These took quite a beating and held up well. Buy extra handles as they can split when throw incorrectly; get at least one per tomahawk.

Review of: Axe of the Crusades

I received this axe the same day as the Faithkeeper sword.  Still from MRL canadian retailer (reliks.com),  I was looking forward to this duo when they came out. I was a little worried that the axe was not solid. I have occasionally received axes from Windlass whose heads were loose on the handle. I was happy to see that everything was well fixed and solid on this one. Very nice axe if you like the period of the crusades or the templars. The ring at the end of the axe annoys me a little but that's a personal taste. A big baby you have to wield with your 2 hands :) Very nice addition to my armory.

Seems very sturdy.  Mine is sharp.  Haven't taken it chopping yet, but I'm sure it will do the job!

Well made and finely decorated. Smaller than I was expecting, but sharp and balanced. Worth the buy.

Review of: Viking Throwing Axe Replacement Handle

When I bought the engraved Viking axe-head, I went ahead and bought this extra wooden shaft in case the first one was damaged somehow or came loose and could not be fixed.  I just love that such items are made available for weapons that could actually break during use.  It also came with a stained wooden sheave that you can slice off a bit to hammer into the top of the wooden handle to tighten the shaft part inside of the axe-head.  This shows foresight, and I appreciate things like that as I like to be prepared for things that might logically go wrong over time. Very nice.
