This is probably my favorite rapier in my collection. Very well crafted and simply stunning to behold. I cannot praise it enough. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Review of: The Christus Imperat Rapier

One of my favorite rapiers. Simple, yet elegant. Light & nimble. My only gripe was that the leather scabbard must have had some moisture in the leather as it caused the blade to begin to ry=uat at the ricasso. I now leave it out of the scabbard.

Review of: 17th Century Italian Rapier

One of my favorite rapiers in my collection. Very well made and a treat to weild. Only down side is the blade will rust at the ricasso when stored in the scabbard. Leather was still moist.

Review of: Munich Sword

The sword feels heavy at the hilt, but it balances at 4-5" above the hilt, just as it should. I found the handle was a bit short for my medium sized hands, so I reduced the bead at the bottom end with a Dremel tool. It was easy to do and added the necessary length. This is an excellent cut and thrust design - with emphasis on the thrust.

Review of: Late Scottish Broadsword

This is a magnificent sword! The basket is large enough to fit my middle size hands when wearing a gauntlet. The basket is also fabulously detailed. Depending on how you count them, there are 30 odd welds in it. Balance is 5" above the basket as it should be and is intended to support cutting rather than thrusting. The etching and engraving are tops!

Review of: The Christus Imperat Rapier

This Rapier is very well done, the hilt is amazing looking and tightly constructed. The writing on the blade is nice and clean, the blade itself is a bit flexible but not nearly enough to ruin the sword. The balance is very good and feels great in the hand, finish on the guard is very nice as well.
