Migration Period Sword
During the so-called Dark Ages, there were many advances in metallurgy and
better swords, like this one, were produced. Based on a 7th Century design, this
slashing sword was a favorite. The wide central fuller was the key to reinforcing
the blade all along the edges. Hand forged from high carbon steel and tempered,
this full tang sword would have been carried by the most skilled warriors. Brown
suede wrap over wood grip and intricate bronze parts. Includes elaborate wood,
suede and metal scabbard w/top grain leather belt. Made by
