Overview


At the council of Troys in 1128, the Templar Order was confirmed by Pope Honorius II. The Knights received the white vestment as a symbol of purity of their life, to which Pope Eugenius added the red cross in 1146.

King Baldwin II, the King of Jerusalem, installed the Order in a part of the Palace of Jerusalem believed to be Solomon’s Temple, from which they took the name of Knights of the Temple or Templars. The order’s battle honors in the defense of the Holy Land are now legendary, while the accounts of their missing accumulated wealth are still a mystery. Shown here with our Templar Cape, this heavy sleeveless tunic has been dyed a bright white. The Order's Maltese styled red cross has been appliqued over the heart, while a full linen lining has been sewn on the interior.

100% cotton, Dry clean only. S/M or L/XL.

Note: Small/Medium is ideal for people with a 40" and under chest, while the Large/X-Large is best for people with a 42" and over chest.

Very well made and runs a bit large to accommodate chain mail
Nice and heavy cotton.  Runs true to size if not a little large but is made to accommodate the wearing of chain mail.   I think it will be very durable.  I am waiting to get the matching cape!

looks a lot nicer in person then in the picture,picture really doesn't do it justice

For thicker guys or for guys wearing mail and all the other things with this to be truly in character it would be nice to see it either sized about a size or two BIG or have more sizing options.
