Berry Dress
I remember this dress being in the catalog years and years ago and I finally bought it.  It's definitely not as red as it is in the picture, which is a little bit of a bummer.  It's more of a subdued autumn red.  Not a standout red at all.  I'm 5'4" and it doesn't drag on the ground, which usually happens with everything I buy.  So if you're short, this is a good one. The corset/girdle is much smaller than the dress.  I'm a size 0 or 2 in clothes, I got the Small of this dress.  The dress itself is big on me, but then I can't tie the girdle closed all the way.  It's an odd combination of sizes.  I like the dress overall.  I think it would look nice with a leather type wide corset belt over it.  And the bottom won't drag in the mud anywhere!

Nice dress
Got this dress a year or two ago in meadow green. I would describe it as a pea soup green, but that sounds unattractive, and this color is lovely. At 5'7" I don't consider myself overly tall, but this dress is definately short in the hem. An underdress or skirt is required but makes some fun options to play with. Construction has held up well to occasional wear and is comfortably cool in moderate heat. - Lindsay

Many years ago this was my first purchase from Museum Replicas.  I was very pleased with the dresses basic construction.  However, I have a wide back - moderate bust and when I lifted my arms over my head it would put a strain on the stitches in the arm pits.  The stitches eventually tore and I had to break out the sewing machine.  I am 5'3 and the hem of the dress was right at my ankles. So tall women may want to add length or opt for a long lacy skirt underneath.  If you are handy with a sewing machine this is a great base to work with.
