OVERVIEW

Chains such as this one were worn by knights to show they were part of a society known as The Order of Chivalry. First introduced in the 14th century, they were worn to reflect status and accomplishment. Often a badge would hang from the metal chain denoting allegiances.

These stunning chains of office, also called livery collars, will accentuate just about any stately medieval or Renaissance ensemble. Our exquisite metal chain has fully sculpted links connected by strong steel rings. Available in two finishes, antique steel, and antique brass. Measures a full 36" in circumference.

Loved it
This knightly chain is fantastic. It’s solid, heavy, and well done. I’ve seen other sites with chains costing twice as much that wasn’t as well made. It’s a great addition to my harness

Nicely decorative, solid, but impractical
Catches on everything, but pretty.

Nice heavyweight design
This is a great item, and it has a decent weight to it. The finish is excellent and it fits well with any noble persona.
