After the club, daggers are man's oldest tool and weapon. Historically they were usually double-edged and used to deliver quick, lethal strokes. Their small size made it perfect for those more nefarious types. They were also used in the "two-handed" fighting style popularized by the French during the Renaissance.

Review of: Peloponnesian Dagger

I honestly don’t know what people are complaining about… If you’ve ever handled a dagger from this period, this is exactly in line with the dimensions of those blades. Even handling a dagger from Luristan and other ancient civilizations, the handles are just as small. This is a phenomenal replica, exactly what one would expect from an authentic piece dating back to this time. Highly recommend this piece and as always, the quality by Windlass is phenomenal.

Review of: Mercenary Holbein Dagger

During WW2 the German Army utilized this same Holbein design for many of their dress and utility daggers.  Ergonomically designed and sharp as a razor, this is one impressive knife.  Double edged with a sheath as handsome as the blade itself, this is a must buy at the price it is going for here on the Museum Replica site.

Review of: Faithkeeper - Dagger of the Knights Templar

I bought this for my son. I wanted a gift for his birthday that was reflective of his faith, wisdom, and strength. This fit the bill perfectly. He was VERY happy with this dagger. He loves replica weapons and being able to incorporate his faith with it is a plus.

Review of: Faithkeeper - Dagger of the Knights Templar

It would have been nice except it had pits (dark) spots on the blade near the cross guard It was listed as the last one so i didnt want to send it back and wait for more to come. maybe it got sent back before. anyway i polished it a lot and got most of it out also i was able to polish out the made in india at the same time. It is still a great looking dagger i am sure it was a one time fluke. I just ordered the faithkeeper sword to go with it.

Well made piece with excellent fitting of handle to blade.  The Stag Handle looks supberb.. nice colour stag, which is a favourite of mine for knife handles.  In fact, this feature and brass crossguard sold me on purchasing it.

Review of: Stag Horn & Damascus Hunting Dagger

Well-made handle, hilt and blade, which was very sharp except for an inch near the tip. Altogether, it's a great knife for advertised or other (probably) light use.

Review of: Stag Horn & Damascus Hunting Dagger

Very good looking piece, good weight to it, and sharp enough to take the hair off my arm straight from the box.   Haven't done much with it so I can't speak to its durability but on looks alone it's a winner.
