Color Warning
Axe is firmly secured, handle has nice feel, ring attached to bottom of handle is to light weight for the weight of this axe. Be warned pictures are not accurate the head of the axe is black.

Big One
I received this axe the same day as the Faithkeeper sword.  Still from MRL canadian retailer (reliks.com),  I was looking forward to this duo when they came out. I was a little worried that the axe was not solid. I have occasionally received axes from Windlass whose heads were loose on the handle. I was happy to see that everything was well fixed and solid on this one. Very nice axe if you like the period of the crusades or the templars. The ring at the end of the axe annoys me a little but that's a personal taste. A big baby you have to wield with your 2 hands :) Very nice addition to my armory.

Axe
Seems very sturdy.  Mine is sharp.  Haven't taken it chopping yet, but I'm sure it will do the job!

A nice axe
This is a nice piece but it got dinged a star for a couple issues. The head is a little loose, that may be because it's cold and the haft shrunk a smidge, I'll find out come warmer weather. Also the cross wasn't that well done, it's very rough on the insides and one of the circles at the tips has junk in it. I may be able to clean it with a round file.

It's also blackened which is nice, it didn't seem that way from the pics.

Well constructed battle axe
This is a nice representation of a mid-Crusade's era Western European battle axe. Blade is great with a nice edge. Construction is well done.
Wish it were offered in an non-blackened (polished) and the edges on the square handle were rounded off in the gripping areas.  Otherwise 4 stars.
