Review of: Gladius - The Pompeii

I just received this Gladius. It was shipped promptly and extremely well packed. The sword overall is well made and balanced like a typical Roman sword, for stabbing. The scabbard is a little flashy, but decent. Even unsharpened this thing is a deadly weapon, great for reinactments or display. Five stars for the price verses quality.

Just right in every way, and not too dangerously sharp in this case.

Review of: Gladius - Maintz Pattern

This Mainz Gladius is my 5th sword I’ve bought from MR. Once again, I’m very happy with my purchase. Sword was received in perfect condition with a very sharp edge. Very authentic detailing, fine balance and great looking. Give it 5 stars and recommend to anyone interested in the classic Roman sword.
