I ordered an XL for some reason it was changed to a L. Next time focus on getting the order shipped out on time instead of changing sizes. Start listing items out of stock. I would not have bothered ordering it if you had done so.

It's a great cap. Medium was a tiny bit small for my head but manageable, not uncomfortable by any means. Well built.

I bought the brown cap and I'm very pleased with quality of this product. They do run about 1/4 inch small but it's great, but all Tudor caps are not created equal. You would assume that if you pick a color it would be the product but different color, NOT SO. I loved the brown so much that I ordered the black. Well it was a different material and was very floppy and thin. It wouldn't sit up on my head like the brown did and felt like it was very cheap. If the black, brown, red, or spotted Tudor caps are made different then the shouldn't be listed together. I buy a lot from this company and would appreciate honesty in advertising. NOT HAPPY AT ALL WITH THE BLACK.

Great quality but I agree with the other customers, you've gotta fix that sizing chart. I ordered a Large, which should fit no problem but it's really tight on my head.

I found it to be a very nice, well made accessory.  Unfortunately the sizing is way off.  A medium is listed as 7 1/4, which in all sizing charts i could find head circumference is around 23 inches.  I measured the hat I received at about 20 inches.  Thus the 3 stars.  Museum Replicas is good about exchanges but it cost me $4.53 to send it back for hopefully a better fitting size.  Glad I ordered early before Faire season.

Ok, the hat was exquisitely crafted but it it was too small. Sizing at MRL is irksome. I wish they would go to standard. German-European sizing charts, (or, fine, even American sizes in inches & I will do the conversions myself). That said; MRL sizes of small, medium, large are useless. One has no clue what size of product one is receiving. Example: As a standard, I usually fit into small hats. (about 55 cm or 21 &7/8 inches) = Which is typically a small sized hat. MRL had only Med and Large. I feared Med would be too big. Imagine my surprize when the hat was even smaller than 55 cm! (That's extra small!) All this could be ameliorated by using sizes that a person can actually correctly determine. Med to one person is another person's extra-small. But 55cm is always 55cm.

An excellent quality cap, much better than I expected for the price.  Fits perfectly.  It will be a fine addition to my costume for the Arizona Renaissance Festival.  Completely satisfied with my purchase
